Deepak Chopra tells us in this video that everybody’s ultimate goal is to be happy. So you may have a goal of driving a fancy car, or living in a dream house, but the reason behind it will be to be happy. Deepak says that people want to achieve a goal to then be happy, but it should be the other way. If you are happy you will achieve your goals, you will have a great relationship, and you will be successful and be able to buy a car or a house. So happiness comes first.
He also mentions the happiness is an internal stage of euphoria that shows a change in your brain chemistry. It has been proven that being happy the body produces a couple of hormones that are good for our self esteem like serotonin, or for love like dopamine and other hormone. So when you are happy the levels of these hormones will give you a feeling of being high. Now this feeling can also be achieved by being in tune with your soul.
In your soul everything is in synchronicity with everything else, so what he is telling us is that by being in touch with your soul and inner self, you can achieve that state of happiness that we are so looking forward to.
Beside these hormones that are being affected by a status of happiness also help building his immune system which results in less illness.
So what he is telling us is that the easiest path to happiness is to be in touch you’re your soul which will also help us becoming successful and staying healthy.
