The 2014 Tapping Summit Review – Day 6 to Day 7

2014 Tapping World SummitBelow are  the reviews of teh tapping world summit from day 6 to day 7. It has been very powerful, and all I can say that if you have never tried tapping, try it. If you are tapping, keep tapping.

I emjoyed the tapping for kids. I am using it with my children. Yesterday my daughter fell like four times and at the ened, when she was crying I did a tapping round with her. She thought it was funny, but her energy change instantly.

Day 6- How to Experience Deeper and More Fulfilling Relationships with Dawson Church

Relationships are hugely driver by biological factors
When we meet someone new that we like we have a flood of the oxytocin hormone, the cuddle hormone.  After a year the level of hormone decreases and is then when we start seeing that the person is not perfect.

Tapping can help us with stress. When we meet someone new, you can tap to decrease the level of stress. We can also tap to decrease the level of infatuation. By doing this we will be able to see the person in real light.

Tapping is an effective way of navigating the bad patches of a relationship. Never go into an argument without tapping. First tap and avoid saying something you would regret afterwards.

Even if your partner does not want to tap, by tapping yourself you will change and therefore your partner will change.

When you are stressed you do not think clearly. It is best to tap first to be able to tap clearly.
Use everything your partner says or does as an opportunity for growth rather than to get annoyed.

In most cases, when you get annoyed you are not annoyed at this situation. Try to go in the past, and tap on other situations. There is probably a past episode that is triggering your annoyance.

If you had an argument and you did not tap, you can tap afterwards to regain equilibrium.
We all expect our partner to fill our needs and that is not how it works. So you need to tap on how to fulfil your own needs.
Dawson did a round of tapping to move forward.

Day 6- Using Tapping to Find Your Soulmate with Lindsay Kenny

Lindsay Kenny was a matchmaker previously, so she has lots of experience in relationships.
She guided us during an exercise where we had to draw a relationship tree, with all our relationships including heartbreaks, and we tapped on them.
We had to tap till you get to level 0 in every relationship.

It does not only nee dto eb romantic relationship, but you could apply it to any relationship.
Then determine 5 characteristics you would like your soulmate or new relationship to have.  Then determine five characteristics you would not like in your partner, or deal breakers. Turn the negatives into positive statements.

Then we tap to release fears and beliefs, and then tapping rounds on affirming positive beliefs to attract your soulmate.

Very powerful and I wished I had this tool when selecting partners, but even if you are in a relationship you can apply this.

Day 7- Aging Gracefully with Pat Carrington

Pat Carrington is 89 years old, and she does not look it.

Does genetic determine how you will grow old?
For me personally that is not true. I believe how you live your life will determine how old you live.

EFT and meditation play an important role in the aging process.
The concept that  older people cannot learn or are not useful is a myth. I personally believe this and it has been proven again and again. Many older people contribute to this world, and I believe as soon as you stop learning or stop being interested in improving yourself or contributing to this world then the aging will accelerate.

One can learn lots from Pat.

Day 7- How to Tap with Kids to Transform Their Lives and Futures with Brad Yates

EFT can offer immense benefits for children. Clear the emotional challenges they have at the moment so it does not carry on into the future.

Before tapping with them, always do tapping on yourself so that you do not push an agenda based on your issues
Taping can be used for fear, anxiety, exam preparation, exam fear, bullying

When tapping with a child, specially if it is not your child, always build a rapport with them, so you do not scare them. Get at their level, and have eye contact . Always let them know that you are doing this for their best interest.

It is more difficult to tap with older kids. If kids do not want to tap, you can always encourage them by saying that someone they really admire, like a sport player, is doing tapping (always say the truth).

Tap using a language adequate to the child. “I always love and accept myself” is not really understood by young kids, but you can replace it with “I am a great kid”.  Ask them to choose their words whilst tapping.

Words are not important when tapping. What is important is the feelings, sensations.  Instead of words you could use songs or nursery rhymes. Brad gave example of words to use when tapping with kids and how to encourage them to choose their own words, and open up

Tapping can be used also for bullying on the kid being bulled or on the kids doing the bullying.
Brad did a round of tapping also.

I loved this session and it has been great to see my daughter tapping. She found it fun, even though she did not understand why we were doing it.
I also personally love Brad Yates voice, it is so calming.
